Description

Scourges Of The Galaxy is a short volume of enemies and adversaries for a Star Hero campaign. The default setting assumed is the Hero Terran Empire Setting, this is done simply to give character backgrounds some context to work from. Changing out specifics is pretty easy, and transplanting the characters themselves to another setting is also easy. The book contains about forty characters in it.

The book is structured into several tiers of threats:

• Master Villains: Five high-level antagonists, including Archimandrite Landol Callixtus, a corrupt church leader; the telepathic Geiger “Mind Master” Cray; and King Narch, leader of the Xenovore Fleet.
• Organizations: Detailed entries for four major criminal or cult groups, such as the Church of the Infinite Dark and the Psindicate.
• Solo Adversaries: A dozen lower-tier “solo” enemies including Lucas Bellair (xenoarchaeologist) and Blackjack Thorson (cybernetic bounty hunter).
• Campaign Integration: Each entry includes “plot seeds” and suggestions for how to integrate the character into a game.

While it uses the Terran Empire setting as a default backdrop for character histories, the content is designed to be easily adapted to any generic sci-fi setting.
